Patterson EagleSoft's electronic business tools are the easiest and most effective way to process patient insurance claims and billing statements. Use eServices to reduce staff time spent processing paper claims and statements, allowing you to focus on patient care and additional revenue opportunities. Receive faster payment on claims and statements and reduce your accounts receivable and estimated insurance balance. And maintain complete control over your claims and statements without all of the stress and hassle and time spent printing and mailing so many paper forms.
eClaims
Submitting your claims electronically quickly connects providers like you to payers and other healthcare partners using computers, modems or high-speed connections, and phone lines. Patterson EagleSoft Practice Management software is designed to submit your electronic claims with just a few keystrokes. Your claims are verified for accuracy at a claims clearinghouse and are then forwarded directly to the payer. The process is very simple and requires little interaction from your staff. Take a closer look:
- Claims are prepared in the standard manner.
- Insurance claims are sent directly for auditing, processing, and payment to the clearinghouse.
- The data is screened, batched, and submitted to the appropriate insurance companies.
eStatements
Utilizing a process similar to electronic claims, submitting electronic statements is also very simple:
- Statements are prepared in the standard manner.
- The information is sent to the clearinghouse for immediate processing.
- Statements are then printed, stuffed, and mailed from the clearinghouse to your patient within one business day.
The clearinghouse processes your file and mails your statements within one business day. Each statement is laser printed on a four-color form and inserted into a double window envelope with a return payment envelope for the patient's convenience. Once the statements are processed, you’ll receive a confirmation with the number of statements sent and the date.
